Silicon Valley NewTech Meetup – Tues, Dec 11th

Posted: December 11th, 2007 | Author: vinnie | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

Who’s on deck tonight?

YowTrip.com – Travel the world and meet interesting people while doing it. Find a new friend in every city. [Felipe Coimbra]

ThePoint.com – Start a cause and make it happen! From activism, to fundraising, to to social contracts, set goals and take action. [Jeremy Pepper]

Docstoc.com – Find and share professional documents. An entire database of useful documents that can be embedded and read on any website. [Jason Nazar]

MyBlogLog.com – See who’s visiting your site and create a community for them. Yahoo picked these guys up early on. [Ian Kenney]

And a congratulations needs to go out to the group. Between November and December we passed the 2,000 member mark. That’s a lot of interested NewTechr’s – each meeting fills up so quickly these days, but I think the limit of 150 keeps for an intimate and interesting meetup.

Let’s leverage the power of networks, I’ve created a "Silicon Valley NewTech Meetup Group" on linkedin, you can join here:
